National Pet Smile Month 2009

Once again here at Chessington Veterinary Surgery we will be supporting National Pet Smile Month. Dental and gum disease is the single most common health problem for cats and dogs and sadly one of the areas most commonly missed by owners. During September we will be trying to raise the profile of pets dental health by offering completely free dental checks for all cats and dogs. In addition we will be giving away free goody bags with dental chews for your pet to try. Once again there will be an art competition for children with prizes available to the national winners in each age group of an IPod and tickets for a Hot Air Balloon Ride for the overall national winner

Chessington Veterinary Surgery Client Winner in Art Competition

Congratulations to Kimberley Ross who won an IPod as the National Winner in the Pet Smile Month 2008 Art competition for 2008 within the 11-13yrs age group. Watch out for Pet Smile Month later this year for a free dental check on your pet and again the option to enter another Art competition.

BURGESS RABBIT WEEK

Burgess Rabbit Week runs from 24th January and during that week and the following week we will be offering

FREE NURSE HEALTH CHECKS for your pet rabbit.

There is also a discount offer on Viral Haemorrhagic Disease Vaccine for those rabbits not already vaccinated plus free activity books and posters for children. In addition there is a competition for children with a chance to win a top prize of being a zoo vet for a day at Flamingo Land. (Full details can be found on the national rabbit week website here)
